DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) 25 mg. Herbal Base 250 mg.

The herbal base contains: Green tea leaf extract (Camellia sinensis) 35% polyphenols; schizandra berry (Schizandra chinensis) 2% schisandrin, Nova Soy® (Glycine max) 1% soy isoflavones (hypoallergenic); Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract (24% ginkgoflavonglycosides), terpenes; grape seed extract (Vitis vinifera) 40% proanthocyanidins.

Other ingredients: gelatin, maltodextrin, calcium sulfate, silica, magnesium stearate.

PHYSIOLOGY: This product is a treatment in the decrease in DHEA levels in response to anti-aging, stress, high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, senility, Alzheimer's disease, heart disease, high choles- terol, lupus erythematous, hypothyroidism, osteoporosis, depression, anorexia nervosa, Rheumatoid arthritis, cancer and leukemia.

INDICATIONS: DHEA levels decrease in response to anti-aging and stress as levels of cortisol (the stress hormone) rise. Supplemental DHEA appears to have the effect of reducing body fat and increasing muscle mass, without calorie restriction.
It seems to shift metabolism from producing fat to creating muscle and energy. High amounts of unused insulin In the body can reduce DHEA levels that in turn may contribute to the cardiovascular problems and tendency toward overweight, typical of diabetics, particularly when the condition occurs late in life.

DHEA levels are an accurate indicator of arterial blockage, LDL cholesterol levels, hypertension and other risk factors associated with heart disease. DHEA appears to stimulate T-cell proliferation and interleukin-II synthesis. Low DHEA levels are associated with menopause and sub-sequent reduced bone mass in women.
